The strictly protected wilderness of the national park offers animals and plants the opportunity to flourish in their natural habitat, without any human influence.<\/p>\n

21 routes with a total length of 80 km lead you through unspoilt nature, many of which even take you above the tree line. The right equipment is essential for an unforgettable day in the national park. Good hiking boots with a non-slip sole are a basic requirement, and sun and rain protection should always be taken along.<\/p>\n

To protect nature, open fires are absolutely forbidden, both in the park and in the car parks. Dogs are not permitted in the Swiss National Park, not even on a lead or in a rucksack.<\/p>\n

Would you like a competent guide for your hikes? Then we recommend our local hiking guides. They know the park like the back of their hand and will take you on a journey of discovery on the guided tours.<\/p>\n

In principle, we recommend that you pack enough provisions for your hikes, as there are very few places to stop for refreshments in the national park itself.<\/p>\n

The Chamanna Cluozza<\/a> <\/strong>is the only serviced hut in the entire national park. It is situated in a wild and romantic location in the heart of the park at 1882 metres above sea level and is a great starting point for numerous hikes.<\/p>\n

The Hotel Il Fuorn<\/a><\/strong> is a historic building, offers authentic mountain cuisine and brings you closer to wonderful natural products.
