Winter experiences in nature
Snowshoeing and winter hiking
Crunch, crunch, crunch—relaxing winter hiking
When the bottom of your shoes squeak with every step you take, the air you exhale produces steam, and the low temperatures awaken all your senses, then it must be winter. And the winter in Engadin is long, and it offers the perfect conditions for everyone who loves discovering the winter scenery by foot. There’s no finer way to slow down.
We would especially like to recommend the Philosophenweg (Philosophers’ Trail) on Muottas Muragl, Pontresina to the Morteratsch Glacier, and the idyllic Val Roseg path.
Feel free to ask our reception for further tips or use the interactive winter hiking map of the tourist destinations.

The carriage makes its way through picturesque villages and wintry woods while the carriage passengers breathe in the clear winter air and savor the unique atmosphere.
