The traditional Baer & Post hotel in Zernez welcomes you in a sunny yellow colour.

Like our ancestors, we orientate ourselves very closely to nature. Because we are aware of the uniqueness of the place with its fauna and flora, we design our house inside and out along the lines of this habitat. It was these values that inspired the creation of our own farm and the new NaturSpa. Here and there we create nature experiences for our guests.

Our history

How quickly time passes. Once a post office and the only hotel in Zernez. Today, it’s home to numerous guests, employees, and us. The Baer & Post and its farm were bought by Christian Monsch in 1905.

				Fantastic place and service. We arrived before check-in time, after having hiked several kilometers in heavy rain and were welcomed by the family-owner, who arranged for us to get a room very fast, so we could have a warm shower. Can really recommend this place with the wonderful atmosphere

				😀 - Sehr nettes und freundlicher Personal in allen Bereichen. Sehr schöne Wellness Anlage. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und mit gepflegten Details. Trotz der zentralen Lage an einer Durchfahrt Strass war es sehr ruhig. Gratis Parkplatz 😞 - Der Frühstücksraum könnte mit z.B. Unterteil Elementen netter gestaltet werden. Der grosse offene Raum ist nicht sehr attraktiv.

				We had a very pleasant experience at Hotel Baer & Post in Zernez. The restaurant has an elegant and welcoming atmosphere, with attentive and friendly service.The food was beautifully presented and of very good quality. The salad was fresh and nicely prepared, and the main course – steak with vegetables and herb butter – was well cooked and flavorful. The chocolate dessert with vanilla ice cream and fresh raspberries was a particularly nice finish.Overall, a very enjoyable dinner with good food, pleasant surroundings and professional service. Definitely a place worth visiting when staying in or passing through Zernez.
